Get ready for a morning full of movement, dancing and wonder hosted by bestselling children’s music artist and author, Justine Clarke.

Start with a wellness session that is so fun, the kids won’t know it’s exercise! Lauren Hannaford is a former champion gymnast, but kids are mostly impressed when they hear she was a Wiggly dancer with The Wiggles! Plus, Ready Set Dance and the freshest DJ/Dancer in town, Romeboy.

After their warmup, they’ll dive into the historical depths of the ocean with Erth’s Prehistoric Aquarium and meet the playful prehistoric creatures of the deep.

Dry off and prepare to sing and dance with The Wiggles! The world’s most popular children’s entertainment group is hitting the world’s greatest stage for 45 minutes of Wiggly fun!

Kids will be wide eyed and mind blown when they watch Junkyard Beats transform ordinary household items into extraordinary musical instruments in an imaginative music-in-education performance.

ELEVATE Sydney will take place on the Cahill Expressway above Circular Quay.  

Entry and exit to the event will only be from the corner of Bridge Street and Macquarie Street, opposite the Conservatorium of Music. There will be no access to the event via the existing footpath on the Cahill Expressway from Circular Quay, The Rocks or via the lifts from Circular Quay.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

ELEVATE Sydney ticketholders are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time. Public transport is the easiest way to get to and from the event with various major transport hubs within short walking distance of the event site.  

Circular Quay is the closest transport hub to the event site with frequent trains, buses, ferries and light rail services all within short walking distance of the event entry off Macquarie St. Alternatively, Wynyard, Martin Place and St James transport hubs are also within walking distance of the Cahill Expressway entry point at the corner of Bridge and Macquarie Streets. Remember masks remain mandatory on public transport and you’ll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or app ahead of time. You can also check real-time capacity indicators when planning your trip or boarding services.  

ROAD CLOSURES & PARKING

The Cahill Expressway Overpass at Circular Quay will be closed to traffic during the event. The Cahill Walk will also be closed to pedestrians. There are a number of car parks within  short walking distance of the entry to ELEVATE Sydney  however spaces will fill early, particularly ahead of the evening sessions so allow extra travel time or try booking ahead.  

Parking restrictions will be in effect from 6am to 8pm during the event on sections of Bridge, Grosvenor and Macquarie Streets so check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed. For more details including real-time updates on traffic conditions visit livetraffic.com.

ELEVATE Sydney is an all-ages ticketed outdoor event. You must have a valid ticket for everyone in your group, including children.

We recommend you bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and clothing that provides weather protection including wet weather protection.

There will be food and beverage outlets offering a range of different cuisines. All purchases will be contactless, and you will be asked to provide photo ID for alcohol purchases.

Water bottle refilling stations will be available throughout this wonderfully unique venue.

Prams and strollers are discouraged due to space limitations at ELEVATE Sydney. As they will not be permitted in the entertainment areas, a limited amount of pram storage will be available in the venue once you have reached the top level of the Cahill Expressway. This storage is free of charge and monitored by staff during the day, however, items will be left at own risk and ELEVATE Sydney will not take any responsibility for misplaced property. We recommend using baby carriers and leaving prams and strollers at home. Backpacks will be permitted for this event, including nappy bags and other similar items.

A COVID-Safe Plan will be in place for ELEVATE Sydney. For the health and safety of everyone at the event, all ticket holders aged 16 and over will be required to show proof of double vaccination or medical exemption prior to entering the event site and social distancing protocols must be observed.

People under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult from the same household. Hand sanitiser will be available at regular intervals across the event site and our team will be keeping a strict cleaning regime to keep you and your loved ones safe.
